Software Developer (m/f/x), full-time, London

We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Software Developer to join our team in London.


You will be responsible for creating and supporting software products on the Playbrush platform.

You will be responsible for the Playbrush backend which includes services that interact with Playbrush customer data.
 In particular, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending Playbrush’s API which supports Playbrush’s internal and external applications.

You will also be responsible for data analytics for both internal and external customers.

You work closely with our other developers within Playbrush and our integration partners who depend on your service.

You will be working both in teams and independently. You will have to identify and solve problems effectively and 
efficiently on your own.


3+ years’ experience in building software products both independently and in teams.

Strong Proficiency in Python Programming and experience of creating RESTful APIs

Experience building services in the cloud using AWS

Previous experience with data analytics is highly desirable.

Experience with no-SQL databases (MongoDB)

Able to work as a  part of an agile team in a dynamic startup 

Able to work legally in the UK

Software Product Manager (m/f/x), fulltime, Vienna or London

Playbrush is the innovation leader in smart Oral Care in Europe and beyond. 

Since 2015 we have been working on the digitalisation of oral care. We are the pioneers of Smart Toothbrushes and Oral-Care-As-A-Service Subscriptions to revolutionize how children, families and adults take care of their dental health. 

Our interactive smart toothbrushes connect via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet. Children can control mobile games with their toothbrush, and consequently get better at toothbrushing. Adults also interact and receive smart feedback via the toothbrush, so they can improve their brushing performance. 

Playbrush is a scale-up that has received multiple millions of investment, won several awards and was recognised by the media globally. Only recently it has been acquired by the Swiss-Japanese consumer health champion Sunstar Global!

Now we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Software Product Manager to join our team in Vienna or London.


Own the Software Integration and eCommerce roadmaps at Playbrush - this includes www.playbrush.com but also partnership projects we run with insurance groups and dentists

Research best-in-class software including data applications and eCommerce shops 

Define specifications & requirements with the product, marketing, user research and management team

Lead the creation and development of new product & webshop features

Manage in-house and third-party developers or partners

Support solution design and integration, define user acceptance testing and provide post implementation support to internal stakeholders and end-users 

Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction


3+ years experience in a high growth start up, consumer company or consulting 

University degree in a technical domain or equivalent professional background

Demonstrated product responsibility including KPI management 

Strong project management skills

Experience working with cross functional teams incl. developers, designers, user researchers, data analysts, etc.

Familiar with Scrum and/or other agile product development methodologies

Knowhow in User Experience Design is a strong plus

Self-driven, organised and diligent personality

Proficiency in English and German
